Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Cervix
The illustration was produced as part of a graduate pathology course in the Biomedical Communications Program. The intent of the assignment was to create a 2 page spread for an educated general audience that visualizes stages of a particular pathology on the cellular and gross scale. Pre-malignant stages of squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix is shown, highlighting both surfaces changes on the cervix as well as histological changes as seen by a doctor. The final illustration was fully digitally rendered in Photoshop while Illustrator was used for compositing and layout.
